Top Service Providers
Services are directed by clinical faculty members who are nationally certified and state licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists and learning disability specialists. The Center provides clinical experience to students enrolled in the university’s Communication Sciences and Disorders' graduate degree programs.
The Northwestern University Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning is part of a network of university-affiliated health services programs that includes the Voice, Speech and Language Service and Swallowing Center located in Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Aphasia and Neurolinguistic Research Laboratory, among others.
Audiology services at the Center are conducted by audiologists holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as well as a Master's, AuD, or PhD in Audiology. Each audiologist is licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Students in the Northwestern Doctor of Audiology Program may also be involved in evaluation and treatment at this facility.
