Diane Novak is a senior lecturer in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and serves as the Director of the Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning at Northwestern University. Diane is a certified audiologist and has over 25 years of clinical experience. She teaches, participates in research and is responsible for strategy, finance, marketing and operations for all clinical services. She has special interests in the professional and clinical development of students, improving accessibility to hearing healthcare and educating allied health professionals and consumers on the importance of prevention, identification and treatment of hearing loss and balance issues.

Nathan Waller is a senior lecturer in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and serves as the Assistant Director of the Center for Audiology, Speech, Language and Learning at Northwestern University. Dr. Waller is a licensed speech-language pathologist who specializes in the treatment of voice and airway disorders. A professionally trained singer and former chorus director, Dr. Waller is interested in the diagnoses and treatment of voice disorders in both singers and non-singers. Lucy’s special interest is in helping others while continuing to grow professionally.
Marisol joins NUCASLL with broad experience in the healthcare field. Marisol has provided patient support in a variety of roles which have included cardiology patient service support and medical assisting for a pediatric gastroenterology center. Marisol takes great pride in her work, enjoys learning, and is passionate about supporting patient care and client satisfaction at NUCASLL.
Laura joined NU CASLL in 2016. Her focus is in providing client satisfaction and working to improve internal processes to better the client experience. She hopes to be able to apply these skills and interests in a career in law in the future.
