Transgender voice and communication therapy helps establish voice, speech, and language that is reflective of each individual’s identified gender. A customized therapy plan is created for each client beginning with a comprehensive speech, voice and language evaluation. Areas of focus include:

NUCASLL provides comprehensive evaluation and therapy services on the Evanston campus. Diagnostic evaluations determine the course of treatment, including frequency and appropriateness of individual and/or group therapy.
In addition to services for youth and adults at the Northwestern University Center for Audiology, Speech, Language, and Learning in Evanston, a Youth and Young Adults Voice and Communication Group is available in Evanston through a partnership with Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s Gender & Sex Development Program.
