Ongoing research projects currently enrolling subjects include:

• A study of Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and its impact on swallowing function in patients with cancer of the head and neck (NIH/NCI funded)
• A randomized study of therapy for swallowing disorders in patients who have been treated for head and neck cancer. Patients are randomized to either traditional therapy plus neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) or traditional therapy only (NIH/NCI funded)
